1. Introduction

Better Execute Pty Ltd ("we", "us") operates Better Execute (betterexecute.com). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect:

• Account data: Name, email address, password (hashed — never stored in plain text), profile information.
• Usage data: Server logs, IP address, browser and device information, and how you interact with the Service.
• Content data: Data you create or input into the Service (projects, tasks, notes, strategy content, scorecard entries, meeting notes, etc.).
• Payment data: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. Stripe collects and processes payment information under its own Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and improve the Service; process payments; send transactional and product communications; enforce our terms; comply with legal obligations; and for analytics and security.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We may share data with: service providers necessary to operate the Service (hosting, database, AI inference, email delivery, payment processing); when required by law or legal process; or with your explicit consent. We do not sell your personal data.

• Neon — database hosting (United States)
• Stripe — payment processing (United States)
• OpenAI — AI features (United States)
• Postmark / Resend — transactional email (United States)
• Sentry — error monitoring (United States)

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and content data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time via Settings → Account → Delete account, or by contacting us at legal@betterexecute.com. Backups may retain data for up to 30 days after deletion.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Use the export and delete options in Settings, or contact legal@betterexecute.com. We will respond to requests within 30 days.

7. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), and access controls. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

8. International Transfers

Our sub-processors operate primarily in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to your data being transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our sub-processors operate.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. The "Last updated" date indicates when changes were last made.
